Simple text is the most effective i think. But about the tag, there is no clear flow in the tag, and no depth. You've got a quite good focus, and its a bit monotone, wich is fine in some tags, but it doesnt fit in this one, too bad.
don't like the colors, try to make it less monotone (like in you current). the rest, apart from the text is pretty good though!
I've had two people tell me my current is good, but when I made it back in 07 no one really liked it. Ugh, lol. Less monotone. Ok. I'll mess with it later. Thanks.
Darken the left side (with the white light) a little bit. For the text, you could try putting it behind the render and see what happens. Nice tag. =]
