I like it, nice background.
You have placed some nice effects, and placed in your render nice, but you could have blended it some more.

 

any tips on how to do that?

 

add some effects in front of the render, like he's behind the effects. It wil also add some depth

 

Like Robin said, work on the blending. And when adding in effects, make sure that you don't cover up the render. =]
