I'm guessing that this has probably been brought up before, but I'm not sure.

I personally believe that the Non-Gaming Renders section should be deleted and merged with the respective Renders section or Premium Renders section.

These sections for renders that aren't game renders are quite inactive. You might believe that since the site is called Game Renders, more emphasis should be placed on gaming renders than on other ones, but to be honest, I think that the site's focus has been moved from Game Renders for a long while.

The problem is that renders in the Non-Gaming Renders section can't be seen from the normal section without an extra click, and I believe the members here for the most part are too lazy to make that extra click and wait for the page to load.

I just feel like they shouldn't have to and they should be able to find all of their renders in one place(Well, actually two because of the premium and regular)

I hope you agree with me. Thanks for your time.

I personally disagree on this one because things are crowded enough as they are. People do find the section, they just don't render that many images which aren't related to games.
But the section has it's used though :)

But, we shall see what V4 brings.

Anime renders mixed withi gaming renders, it will become too messy.

I disagree, I think having a split forum for each is more organized and much more easy for myself and others aswell.

I couldn't agree more that it is more organized. However, I dislike the fact that people such as myself that take on the (quite often) more challenging renders with real people with real hair and the more complicated real life backgrounds, we receive less recognition due to the fact that our renders aren't in the same section with everyone else's. I find that I receive much less criticism (which I actually desire unlike some) when fewer people see my render. To be honest, this is one of the many reasons for my inactivity. I would probably go somewhere else, but I haven't really found another place to go and I like a lot of the people here. I agree about the organization and everything though so I wonder, what if we were required to put an [NG] prefix before non-gaming renders?

hmm in the case your saying i agree. Maybe if the admins add Leets mods the one he found that makes it so you can pick the Prefix, then I believe this idea would work nicely.

It will still be too messy. I agree with you though that less people go into subforums but you can make everything an actual forum, how many parts would we have on this baord then?

I never check the non gaming render section.

hardly anyone does simply based off of what I've seen in the past. the section just doesn't get recognition.

I'd think that the solution would be to make "renders" as a whole section(but one which cannot be directly posted in) and then to make the current renders sections sub forums of that one "renders" forum

If we put the prefix mod, it would solve that issue.

Yeah I think either xlink's suggestion or the prefix mod would be great.

Then I would do Xlink's suggestion, which is actually the best one out there.
Making it so people are forced to look at the subforums :)
