Everytime I use a Windowblinds theme, it resets to that old, crappy looking Windows 95 skin. Why does it do this? This happens every time for the trial and Full Versions. Help please?
They are referring to the Windows Version. For Win XP its either SP1, SP2 or SP3. Which one do you have installed on your computer.
right click on my computer and go to properties or hold the start button its on the keyboard in the middle of ctrl and alt while u hold that down hit pause break its 2 buttons off from f12 and that will bring up system properties windows and in there it will say the sp u have 1,2,3 but if u on vista proly have no sp or sp1 but ya u should really go over to the windows blinds forum cuz this is a prob alot of ppl are runnin into
Get rid of Windowblinds and just get a UXTheme patcher (like .ZERO said); uses less Window's resources... I've had mine patched for about 3-4 years, and have had no problems. ---------------- Now playing on Winamp: Bathory - Vinland via FoxyTunes
Go on google and download the UXTheme patcher Here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhan...SP2-Final.shtml Then go on Deviant art or other sites, and download VISUAL STYLES That way you can do it faster, and have them saved in a nice place Probalby in your Windows Themes Directory But Agreed with everyone, UXTheme is the best way to go I am using it and it works great! -Vanquish
All the default windows themes are signed by microsoft, the default uxtheme.dll doesn't allow you to use themes that are unsigned. The replacment tweaks the DLL to allow you to use unsigned/commuinity made themes.
