Nice to see you're using the C&C you get. The lines are getting smoother and more defined than your previous, but they can get better. Because the lines aren't smooth, when you apply a stroke to the type (which I am guessing you did), the stroke looks bad. So, if you're going to use a stroke, the curves and line paths have to be real smooth. I like the fact you're now playing with the type, making illustrations out of the letters. (reminds me of my sig!) The "F" could be better in-terms of detail, the "H" is good but you can add more detail overall. Great to see you did more with the background too. -
Thank you! Your CnC really helps ^^ Can i ask you one thing though? When im making the lines, they always seem to get choppy, i dont quite understand why... How do i make them smoother?
Well I am assuming you're using Photoshop for vectoring, which is very hard to do in comparison to Freehand or Illustrator. You got more options and freedom when vectoring in Illustrator or Freehand than Photoshop. That being said, lines and curves can get smooth in Photoshop by using vector masks. It is very complicated (compared to illustrator and freehand), but it is manageable. I do recommend you use either Freehand or Illustrator (or any free software catered to vectoring) because Photoshop vector functions are very basic. -
