I went to see this movie yesterday and thought it was the worst movie I've seen in a long time. The film started OK but that was about it. The storyline was pretty ridiculous and the only ------ frightening part wasn't even a part of the main plot. I guess I just had higher standards and once I saw it I felt extremely disappointed. I would love to hear everyones thoughts.
damn was it that bad? Usually most of Night's films are similar in how there's ALWAYS a twist at the end, but I hoping that there was gonna be somethin different about this one. Guess not.....
Thought it was good most of the way through, but then the ending just ended. The ending had no substance and he left it open for a sequel. The beginning scene was brilliant though.
i haven't seen it yet and i was thinkin about goin to see it in a week or 2 but now im haveing second thoughts <<
SPOLIER, IDK****** i heard it had something to do with trees and global warming? can anybody clarify?
I am going to come out and say it... M Night Shyamalan is a horrible director. I will never watch another movie of his, the only movie worth two shits was Signs. *** SPOILER *** (Highlight) The movie was about trees enforcing a natural extinction method to control the populace essentially, or punish the populace, however you see it. It gave off a chemical which caused people to have suicidal tendencies. The areas targeted were the higher populated areas, such as central park. Eventually it moved across the East coast attacking smaller and smaller groups until it all of a sudden stopped, for a reason they go over in the movie but I can't remember. *** END SPOILER ***
Alright, well Im suppose to be going on a date this weekend to see a movie....and she actually wanted to see that....should I advise against it I take it then? I actually heard from a few people that it was at least worth a watch.
Haha damn that bad huh....ok well Id prefer not to bore myself, so looks like I am not looking for a new movie haha
I'm putting M. Night Shamalinglong right up there with Uwe Boll. They deserve to be together. And signs was not a good movie.
Never said good, said worth mentioning. Seriously, he goes from directing great movies like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable to making Signs, which was a disappointment, but not bad, and then on to The Village, Lady in the Water and The Happening, 3 movies that have been absolutely horrible.
