http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/13/world/as...amp;oref=slogin you know I actually agree with this. if you have enough money to eat all that extra food you've got enough money to pay for any additional costs your poor health will generate. for reference, tensed, my waist is 25.5inches relaxed it's 28 inches. I'm 5'9 145-150lbs or so.
You could safely remove nearly every politician we have ever had if they implemented this in the US. I am an in shape male, around 265-280 lbs, and my waste line is around 32-36 variant on the brand I am buying (walmart type clothes are 32s, but LL Bean type clothes are 36). I an muscular and in shape, and something like this would force me to be essentially exiled due to my bone structure? Yeah, stupid gmv.
Lucky gmv. If you saw my pic before I am like an upside down triangle. My chest and arms are very large and my body comes to a point by my feet lol. That probably has a lot to do with the fact I haven't really ever put effort in working my lower half of my body, and instead focused on upper body training... but w/e.
I agree that the campaign will yield little results. In the US, it might stand a chance of proving something, but Japan has been fairly in shape for awhile.
Well, let me put it in context. Costa Rica is planning to become the world's first Carbon-Neutral country. This will have no effect on Global Warming (or at least no much). The whole point is to try to influence others. Maybe Japan is just trying to help battle it worldwide while fighting it at home.
