Currently I'm using the standard version of Office, not 2003. I just got a cd to get 2007. But I have doubts if the newer version is not that great. So lemme ask you people: should i stick with what I have or go for '07?
Definitely upgrade. I really like 2003 though if you're behind that there is no argument to not upgrading; however if you have 2003 I would stick with it as 2007 isn't worth the money yet imho. Although you say you've just been given the disk so go for it. 2007 has some great features and some really nice layouts, well worth it if you have the chance.
It takes no effort to use whatsoever - a definite upgrade. It doesn't do much more than it has done before though, so it's not worth paying for.
2007 is visually more appealing than previous versions but it still does the same stuff as the others. If you have to pay to get 2007, don't do it as it's not worth the money, but otherwise an upgrade definitely doesn't hurt.
Microsoft Word 2007 Version is better visually, and has a better GUI for new users. Further, Microsoft in a couple of months, will be closing down the use of the older MS Words, so the files .doc will all be converted to .docx Just like, Microsoft is no longer giving out updates or fixes for Windows XP as it wants to make everyone use the Vista, so new computers are coming with Vista which is no longer downgrade able to XP because most of the corporations aren't making any more drivers for XP Thought you'd want to know Zain
I love Office 2007, its amazing.. hard to get used too.. but i think its worth it. not to buy.. it came with my laptop
Most of the Offices seem to me to be the exact same thing just with a little bit of a different look. I tend to use openoffice more just because im to lazy to find my office discs when i reformat.
