Ugh I'm done, last 2 hours spent trying to instal and still nothing. I finally got the database thing done right and then it says it's done instaling but now I have this error. http://blackberryvids.com/forums/ I followed the instructions and everything! Can someone please do it for me?
IPB gives you a free install when you buy the forum license. So you shouldn't have any problems if you obtained the software legit. And if it isn't a legal copy, then you shouldn't be asking for help here anyways as it's against the rules.
Yup, go in through your Ftp program and look for the map called forums. Right click it and choose the file attributes option. Check the settings there to make it visible/not visible.
Well I had everything set right. Maybe it's just something I did wrong during the instal, idk. I just used the built in forum software that came with my host.
the only built-in installer that can come with your cpanel is that of Phpbb since it's free. No way you can have one for Ipb
