"Having previously developed Call of Duty 3, the team is bringing the FPS franchise back to its WWII roots."

Personally I hated COD3 and thought it was the worse decision ever to let Treyarch make it. So it looks like COD5 will be a flop, and will probably only be on the consoles -_-

WW2 setting. NTY. I'd much rather have a modern setting with fictional events than this. I don't know why but Modern Weaponry is just the whole reason why I liked COD4. Or maybe it was the fact of putting Steady Aim on the Barret .50cal and running around behind people and blasting them in the neck? Either way, the only reason I'd consider playing CoD5 is the fact that it's for PC.

Support four-player co-op over Xbox Live.

    I doubt it.

I personally don't like how its going back to WWII. I find that there isn't much they can add. With Modern they can really do whatever they wan't because there still is a possiblities of it happening, or still being on track. With WWII if they go off track, it will start to loose realism.
Hopefully they learned from there mistakes, so untill I play CoD 5, I can't really say anything.

Supposedly they are making it in the pacific theater rather than in Germany, but either way I didn't like COD3 and I doubt they will make COD5 any better.

exactly, and yeh maybe keep it as it is now(more current) but new locations and bigger maps etc. Maybe weapon customization with more bits than they have now.

if it is ww2 again i wont be buying it unless it gets reviewed better than cod4 which i highly doubt it will.

I hated Modern Warfare. I would much rather it go back to a WWII setting.

I don't know what you're thinking, but Modern Warfare was great!

I felt that the previous COD's were better for single player, while COD4 was more meant for multiplayer.

never played cod3 and i never will
cod4 was meh got old after awhile but to hell with wwii
there can only be so many games on one subject before they're all the same and wwii has hundreds of games made for it
cod5 will indeed suck the big one

Sad, I was hoping they would make it another modern one. I still play CoD4 almost everyday :D.
