I have around $500 to spend, and i need a PC built for minor gaming, and I would like to use newegg to buy everything.

If anyone else knows how to help me, or what's compatible, then feel free to offer your opinions.

    Thanks.

A good GPU for low level gaming but still good performance would be this

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814161209

99.99 USD but it is good

Overall if you include this with Magma's Setup it will total to around $638.29 Tax Included...no shipping cost though

I will see what I can dig up for $500

    OVerall + Tax: $616.57

hm...looks like mine matches magma's lol

Anyways, you cannot get almost all these things for 500 or less, I know I am trying to build one for 1000 and I can't seem to get the money to fit my 8800 GTX in :(
But, you will be going a few bucks (in this case 100) over or so with tax included

I would recommend the E7200 just because of the higher cpu speed and is cheaper compared to the E6550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115052. The E7200 runs cooler too but picking any intel chip you cant go wrong.

Evga cards are always good to get cause you can always upgrade them with there trade in program Also the ati card is AGP not PCI express http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814161209

swap the CPU for an e2180(he's on a budget)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819116052

    I'd say this memory
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820146565

ditch that heatsink stock would probably be OKand if not probably something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835186134

and the rest looks more or less identical to what I'd have said

This computer is almost built, I would like the thank everyone who helped me get this, all i need is OS and its all set, I have windows Vista but i would rather install XP, and maybe dual boot into Vista later.

Any suggestions on a second hard drive?

Any deals from newegg, or tiger direct on a great 500GB+ hard drive, mainly to use for backup, and to store my OS for dual boot.
