With Bioshock 2 in the works, as well as a movie, take-two has made plans to create a rapture trilogy. Should be a very good one.

Is Bioshock good? I haven't played the first one and was wondering if it is worth trying.

I think they are just saying they are making a trilogy, not saying they are working on number 3...

Anyways, yeah the game is fun, worth the buy.

And they are making a movie?

Yes they are. Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, is directing it.

As for bioshock being worth the money spent. Let's just say I would pay as much as the Rockband special edition for the second installment. I would say if you love stories, books, movies, mysteries.... then you will love this game.

The only problem I had with it is that not much of the story line is explain, although I haven't beaten the whole thing yet (close).

The movie sounds interesting, and will buy 2 once it comes out of course.

It is hard to listen to a diary and fight a big daddy. The story however, isn't too hard to figure out. It's kind of like a puzzle. Once you collect all the pieces, you put them together, and you have the big picture.

If you still don't get it, I am sure there are plot summaries somewhere on the net.

It's a great game, but it's more of a rental. It can be beaten between in about 15hrs.

I usually spend about 20-30 hours beating it. Even though I have played and beaten it countless times, I always find new things to look at in the environment. Plus I love setting up propane tank traps for the unsuspecting big daddy. But yeah, it's a fairly quick game, with a high replay value in my opinion.

HAH! I told all my friends it'd be a good game but they decided to be pricks and not take my word for it. Now they know they are missing out. One of the best games I've ever played TBH. Glad to hear they are coming out with more.
