ok, so ive been up for about 4 hours trying to figure out Photoshop Elements and i somehow made this one





what do you guys think? and what do you guys think i can do to make it better?
also, how should i put in some text? im lost on that part, finally, what can i do to add some more color to it?

anyway bring some structure into it first, after that add some effects, dummy texts

The colors are bland, try livening it up a bit. You want to have a good display of information too, since that's the key to a layout.

Try more colors, and more exciting places to put your content.

 

First of all, gj for a first try..
Second, the banner needs to be more detailed in my opinion.
and yes like the rest said, try some other colors, give it some life.
And try to make some frames for your content
