[/b][/quote] And Im part of that 5%...so that makes us the only 5% that matters...but on the 'gfx' career...LoL...please on your resume put 'gfx artist' and see how many callbacks you get. Im starting school in the fall to earn my Associates in Arts through a Visual Communications class at a local tech. Also while I was in high school we had a Vocational program, in which I took Graphic Communications/Advertisement for 3 semesters. And that was 2 years before I worked for a print shop doing designs and such for vinyl wraps on cars, bikes, etc. Just because you have people on a graphics forum buying your sigs/tags for e-money doesn't mean you'll have a career...the kind of work most people do here is from tutorials...or ------ing around on a 400x150 canvas in photoshop. That doesn't mean you're qualified to have a job in the field. When I went to work for the print shop deal, he had me bring in my own equipment (computer and such) and the first thing they did was check to make sure the photoshop/illustrator on my PC was legit. Which at the time it was...I had a student copy from my previous vocational school. You cannot walk into a place planning on making a career and tell them that "Im a GFX artist...heres my photobucket link...see son...I make awesome sigs yo...I know you heard of GR...they be buyyyyyyyying my ---- up like crazy...they say Im pro" Doesnt happen.

lol guys .. i think you guys got it wrong, or i just put it wrong i believe xD with "gfx career" i didn't meant by working with gfx and getting payed and such i meant like .. the number 1 reason why i'm here is that i want to get better at gfx to maybe someday make a career out of it cause i LOVE gfx .. like "GR gfx career" that's better put i believe
