an 8800GT is an 8800GT more or less. not too huge of a difference between them. for most current games the sweet spot is the 512mb version of the thing and since they're relatively cheap go for it. personally unless cash isn't an issue, the 8800GTS, while a little bit faster than the GT, doesn't deliver much more performance and certainly doesn't deliver better bang/$. it does have a better cooler admittedly but that's not a huge deal
I know exactly what you mean bro Btw i forgot two of the most important things  COMPUTER CASE COOLING SYSTEM So yeah...
Heres a decent case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811147001 Another: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811144151 Cooling: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835129245
I'm using the Antec nin hundred case, it's great. Awesome cooling, comes with 4 fans included, room for a side window fan, and another inside. The ghdd's are kept chilling from the front 2 120mm fans. I recomend it.
A fan isnt gonna work just as a heatsink for the cpu btw... I' d say go with a tuniq tower http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835154002 For the case, its your pick. Personally I would go with what xlink posted [cooler master something]
Heres a heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835887011 or this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835118030
the nirvana is good, in most cases better than the tuniq tower. nothing made by zalman is worth buying at this time. it jsut doesn't perform that well. it looks great. very aesthetically pleasing, and it performs alright. it's just there is far better stuff for that kind of money.
