So far many have said that this game is going to be a step forward in the music games. In my opinion, I don't think it will be able to beat Rock Band. Maybe it will be stronger in the Guitar area, but I don't think they're going to be able to make the drums and vocals work as well as Harmonix did with Rock Band. The one thing that I, and many others I'm guessing, are looking forward to is the song creation. That is one point that has made me want the game badly. The only thing is, I don't feel like getting another drum set because first off I have no room for the one I have for Rock Band as of now, and two because it doesn't seem as though it's going to be able to compete with the Rock Band one. Maybe it will beat it on the grounds of stability and how long it lasts, but other than that I don't think it's going to bring anything amazing into play. I may get it though, I am really looking forward to having control over my own songs and all the songs I want. Apparently though you wont be able to make vocals when creating a song. The system to create all your songs though looks really simple and easy to use and people all over can download the song and play/rate it.

Well, that's all I really have to say as of now. So, opinions on the game?

Red Octane has always brought better quality stuff to the table, than Harmonix. It will stay this way with the release of Guitar Hero World Tour.

    Guitar Hero > Rock Band.

I hate the feel of the guitars for rock band and the design interface for rock band.

Okay I can understand how the design interface is better and all, but that's mainly because they throw in all this fancy stuff when it doesn't need to be. Rock Band is simple looking but still brings everything into play.

I also hate the Rock Band Guitars but there are guitars compatible with Rock Band and Guitar Hero, I'm getting one soon.

One thing you have to look at is that comparing Rock Band to Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band wins hands down because of the newer features they added to add enjoyment to the game.

One main thing I want to focus on is how they're adding in drums and vocals, I don't think it will be any better really, it's probably going to be the same just different songs.

They finally have given the option of creating your own character which is good to hear too. I will pick up the game if Harmonix doesn't make an announcement about an upcoming addition to Rock Band before Guitar Hero 4 comes out.

I find Guitar Hero brings me much more pleasure, and gives me a harder time than rock band does. There are songs I can't beat in Guitar Hero 3 Expert. There are none in Rock Band.

So I am hoping GHWT brings some life into the other instruments. They need to add a keyboard.

You can actually use the Guitar hero controller for Rock Band Though.

Its just Rock Band has a wide Variety.

    Drums are quite fun though.

From what I've seen on it. It looks like it will whoop Rock Band's ass up and down the frets.

Rock Band blew. I didn't enjoy the drums, or anything. Drums on this game look way better.

The drums look horrible, there's no need for the symbols, and with 3 notes it wouldn't be a challenge. The way Rock Band put in the drum fills fit well. Activision is going to milk the Guitar Hero series just like they did with other great series like Tony Hawk.
