CPU: http://azerty.nl/8-472-14259/core-2-quad.html Motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=4CORE1333-FULLHD ^ is this a decent motherboard? DDR2 RAM: http://azerty.nl/producten/zoek?p_tab=8&am...NG=spec_97_desc
I would have bought a 2.6 dual core instead the price is pretty much the same but it's alot better and if you're gonna use xp make sure u buy 3 gb of ram no more no less I would use a asus motherboard without any doubts since asrock is rly budget and isn't to stable from time to time. If you're gonna buy a computer you can afford to add another 50-100$ to get something priceworthy and that will last alot longer regards beezer ps. "The world, chico...and everything in it." omfg where have i heard this quote... I just can't put my finger on it >_<
i'm going for the quad because its the future does asus support quad? yea i already have 1 gig, buying another 2 quote is from scarface
ofc asus supports quad btw just looked at the prices and a 3ghz dual core costs as much as a 2.4 quad core sure the quad cores is the "future" if you like to beleive so but as long as you're gonna use xp, and not gonna use any really high tech 3d programs or such the quad is worthless I would totaly go for the the dualcore regards breezer p.s scarface!! The best movie ever i just love
yea but i probably will, i'm on a ict school now, just dont have too much experience with the hardware yet
I'm going to be blunt, in most cases by the time the future comes, it'd have been cheaper to have bought the "non future proof" part, and then to sell it and to buy a better than "the future proof part" atleast that has been my experience in the last few years. as for the board... I don't know. I could tell you than anything with a p65 or p35 chipset would do well but I know little of the chipset used in that board.
