Try refining your search to realistic expectations, like 200-300 gb space, 2-5k gb bandwith, cpanel and domain hosting, then you may find sites worth actually hosting on.

All the 'unlimited' sites are scandals, read the fine print and you will know.

That being said, http://www.surpasshosting.com/hostingplans.php is one of the best sites I have ever used, and very cheap for what you get.

Basically states that after the 30 day period if they feel, for any reason, like shutting your site down, regardless of payments, they can.

Most unlimited servers are reliable for the term of their money back guarantee, and within the next week after that will remove you from the site.

Finding a website where you sign into a contract with one another for a specified amount of space and bandwidth is the way to go. Most sites won't use practically any resources, anything past like ~100 gigs is enough to last years of course relying on particular types of media, and ~200-500 gb of bandwidth is all you'll generally need for the first couple years of a site, again, pending on the type of files being uploaded. Obviously storage and bandwidth is a larger factor in a movie / music hosting site than a forum board.
