This List might help clear a few things up about some of the 'minor' characters too. Personally to me and maybe falcon the cloverfield viral stuff is quite clear and pretty easy to follow and also adds alot more depth to the film. Like i have already said in my previous post its more than just a film..

Get into the viral sites before you watch the movie. Seriously, go on the IMDB of Cloverfield or whatever and look through their forums. Have everything that involves the background, fictional MySpaces for each character, and loads more. Only reason I found this movie to be absolutely FANTASTIC was because of the viral marketing. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably hate it as much as the next person.
Because: A> Money B> It wasn't that bad of a movie if you did viral marketing. C> Many people liked it, showing off that saying a movie is terrible is only a matter of opinion.
Well no f*cking ---- that its my opinion. I freaking payed seven dollars to see a good movie, not for some viral marketing or to see another lame ass blair witch movie. You get to see the creature for like 5 minutes throughout the movie and what the hell is up with the ending? If the city was going to get nuke then how did the hell did they manage to obtain that dam camera!!! LAME MOVIE
From the trailer itself, you think it was going to be a conventional movie? It simply wasn't your average movie. That's all. Let's all whine about unconventional stuff. ^_^
Cloverfield is an amazing movie, i LOVED it!! Probably one of my most favourites, its sooo different yet soo interesting. Thank god for viral marketing! The new videos about the Oil Rig attacks is just amazing, Cloverfield 2 will be AWESOME! i just hope we don't replay Cloverfield again, but in a different person's view i want the story to expand.
I would never want to watch series for any of the movies because I don't like to wait if there is a suspense on its way. For example if something would happen in one episode and they would decide to reveal it in the second episode, I'd rather stop watching the serials than waiting for the episode two to come out lol! I am very curious about surprises and suspense.
Personally I thought this movie was boring, I fell asleep half way. The only thing that kept me watching it was more information. I didn't like this movie but I hope if there is a sequel that it can be better.
