I am running CoreTemp Beta 0.99. I'm getting a reading around 55 C for past half hour. Is this good? Should I cool it? If so by fan or liquid? Also I am going to upgrasde to quadcore in next few months will that def need to be cooled?
on all cores (if its multi) and what percentage load? if its already fan cooled is it stock or aftermarket, if so, which one?
72C is threshold by intel spec so you're probably fine. c2ds have been found to be incredibly resilient. those suckers just don't die. at least not from temps. the 45nm ones start croaking past 1.35V but realistically they all hit around 4Ghz with less than 1.3V
At this moment(Just turned on comp) Core 1 - 94% loaded at 48C Core 2 - 4% loaded at 55C Its dells stock
looks like a bad mount.. 7C diference also, how are you loading it? http://sp2004.fre3.com/beta/beta2.htm try running that while taking measurements
hmmm i just downloaded that tool.. im getting 55 c as well then again i use "speedfan" and im getting 39c so.. which should i trust?
holy ---- 72 is normal for intel? my intel celeron is not overclocked and its says 82C on speedfan :\
