So, this local barber shop around where i live, is interested in having me create them a website. Im going to have a couple versions, Clean sleek ----- version and a more urban type version (which i think im more better and comfortable with). Im sure they'll like the urban one since its an Urban type of shop.

but heres what i have so far... im kind of slowing down and think i need some guidance. So any type of CnC would be appreciated! anything you guys think i should add or change. (The address isn't a real address and the images are just place holders).

    Its only been 5 hours

Remove the pattern imo and make the navigation just black no fading or white

sorry but im just not liking it
it doesn't seem very appealing to me
i know its just a barber site but still

i would remove the pattern, make a neater nav bar
and move the pricing guide over, with the possibility of a flashier banner
on a side note possibly decrease the width of the site little bit

Go w/ the Update #1 top part, with the content and sidebar of the final not including the pattern on the bottom

There is too much space at the top IMO.
Also, get rid of the images on the banner, and maybe add some lighting like on a laminated wooden floor to set it apart from the rest of the banner.

And change the width like mentioned above.

stil no good and you don't want a fat chubby guy with a mustache on your homepage... it doesn't appeal to the customers at all

haha, dont worry about the pictures at the top! those are just place holders for potential images i might put up there. This isnt the exact site im going to make for the company, this is something so they can see what i could do. If i had actual images of them or their shop it would be easier but i dont, so i had to just put random pics somewhere.

besides the pictures at the top... what about the rest of the things?

I like the black one most of the two. But I think the darker one has a too dark color font, maybe lighter.
and dont use the same images in a banner twice :P
