Aight as you all know i just got CS3 recently, so there are alot of new tricks and secks-c things that come with upgreading from 7.0, like clipping masks.

I need a crash corse lesson in using them, i mean i know how to apply it to A layer but i assume theres more to it then that seeing as i cant actualy get it to do anything. Eg Splatter brushing ( black ) > right click layer, " apply clipping mask "

And well thats it no wizz bang effects its more of a fizzle.

So any help is most appreciated. Also i tried shifting it up and down the layers pallet and nothing; so again i assume ( ASS out of U & ME ) you have to couple the layer with another some how?

    Cheers ikky.

you do the spatter brushing on 1 layer, hide that layer then make a new layer and apply image,
right click that layer and create clipping mask, unhide the spatter brushing layer,
and move the apply image layer around.

    Thats about it..

    1) New layer, brush with a spatter or create a shape or wtv.
    2) Hide it, new layer, CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+E to apply image.
    3) CTRL+ALT+G to create clipping mask, then unhide lower layer, the spatter/shape/whatever one.
    4) Move around applied image layer .

lol I still need CS3, I always tought it wasn't that much better then cs2.
but I always see better quality with cs3 so.
    I'm heading for cs3 soon too :)
wouldn't be so hard then to adapt.
