The typography is alright, but the logo can be improved.

It looks like you're on the right path but you need to take it further.

In my opinion, stick with the concept but experiment more.

well, i think, for my first logo attempt it's okay.

 

I agree with Acrima, it's a nice start for a logo, but it needs further experimenting
try flipping it, titling it, mess with the angles, add extra stuff and take it all away again
