Mmos And Pvp

    Hey guys

    Are there any MMOs out there that can rival WoWs PvP system? I had so much fun in the battle grounds and I loved being able to kill anyone of the opposite side whenever I felt like it. Im tired of games like Rappelz that just punish you for PvP and have only organized PvP once a week... TBH I don't really want to pay for a game monthly any more either

    I've heard of Guild Wars and will probably be checking that game out soon. But any others? Any that are F2P or 1 time payment or a free trial or something?

    A couple of the guys from GW, left arenanet to work on that...havent tried it...so I can't give any advice...just seems like what you're looking for.

    Looks like exactly what I'm looking for! Looked it up on YouTube and am DLing now! Will let you know how it goes!

    I would wager the next best pvp (or better known as RvR) will be Warhammer: Age of Reckoning (WAR for short)

    The only problem is number:
    1) it will have at least the same fee as WoW if not maybe 5$+
    2) its not released and wont but till estimated October assuming they dont push it back
    3) since you would be getting so late in the game you would be luck to get into what they call open beta (which is really going to be a more open version of their current closed beta)
    4) its under NDA so most of the info about this game not yet released...

    But still it'll probably be the next great pvp game ;]

    And if your still thinking about Guild Wars, I would recommend waiting for the sequel

    The only downside is...that joining straight into GW2 will leave you at some sort of dis-advantage because of the Hall of Monuments allowing to carry over titles, weapons, armor etc which will provide somekind of 'extra' in GW2. No one knows what it is yet...I played GW1 since the beta weekends in 05, I'm r10 hero (inb4IWAY), have my champ 5 and called strat for [DF] in several ATs before recently quitting and moving to WoW...the content to make GW a good all around long term game just isnt there anymore.
