In my opinion just looking at graphics alone, it's not a 10/10, but based on previous games, and how the gameplay looks it definitely is worthy of something from 9 or up. Not quite a 10 just for the graphics reason. People will say "but it's an open world", as far as I'm concerned there is no compromise for graphics, they are either great, or they aren't.
The GTA series is known to lack good graphics, but it covers that by its amazing Gameplay. The Graphics for GTA IV are great considering its a GTA game, i enjoy a game with better gameplay then graphics. Graphics comes second.
For a game the size of GTA, the graphics are amazing. The physics engine itself is enough to bring the game a 9. With the storyline, the graphics, the gameplay, amazing open world...... The game deserves a 10. You have to walk down stairs one step at a time for heaven's sake!' I'm getting the game tonight at midnight +1 minute.
this game is the sickest game ever, so 10 outta 10 is obvious, no game could compete with the GTAs PERIOD
