Ps Wont Open .png Files

    from this particular render site where like all there renders are in .png files they wont open on my ps. i use cs by the way. and it says it cannot parse the file. but .png files from this site open up in my ps. anyone know why???

    tell us the site and we can test them on our ps. chances are they are corrupted.

    probably watermarked...
    people do this all the time...

    dude it is a render site... they don't usually watermark them

    do you use a program to make photoshop startup faster? if yes disable it and rollback all changes it made, I used to use such a program and my ps wasn't opening png's

    yea its probably some corrupted file, if it still doesn't open, god help you because i don't know jack.

    I don't think that is the problem, you should click on the image once it's in the preview look and then save it as a new pop-up window will show up, if you save it as the thumbnail then it won't open it

    my current ones open fine, but I cant save new PNGs makes me Save em as bitmaps ;(

    in that case clear out your temporary internet files and delete your cookies under tools>internet options

    k ty, u think its adware that would do that?
