Does anyone know why I get logged out after either making a post or checking a thread. It's quite annoying.

How are you on this thread if you get logged out?
Anyway, try clicking on the delete cookies from this board and try it again. Otherwise you can try cleaning them out manually in your something folder =P

It seems that I started having this problem when this skin got put up. And GR use to work fine on firefox, I wouldn't know why it wouldn't work now.

Well, normally it should have nothing to do with the skin. So I would indeed suggest you clear your cache.
I had this problem myself once on another forum and that worked for me then, so it should normally do the trick for you as well.

Ctrl + Shift + Delete. Select cookies as well.
If not, reinstall ff. If not, install ff 3.

I reported this problem a few months back, it seems to be a bug in ipb 2.3.* cookies, only browser that fixed it for me is opera
