I'm new to sprite tags and I'm wondering about something.

When I find sprites I like they usually come as GIF's. Is the only way of extracting it and placing it in your tag is by doing it manually? I did so with a magic wand tool but I don't know.. it doesn't feel like the "right" method.

So that means you gotta save it on your pc first and then file>open it in photoshop
and not rightmouse click > copy.

Yeah, all animated GIFs and PNGs with transparent BGs have to be svaed to your computer first.
