Classing system from GR would be way too hypocritical to be honest.

And crews are for ego boosts, always have been, but then again there's that good part of it which ravr mentioned.

Thank you sir. I'd love to see more LPs, logs, website designs, and other form of graphic design than just signatures. GR has amazing skill, and potential, and i think the changes will make good use of them. I can't wait for the new upgrade. Dem. can you give us a an approximate date? And will we be able to sell (not for creds) important work such as website layouts, magazine covers etc? Gamerenders would become a great design site. I'm ok about the crews idea, it doesn't matter to me yet since i'm not in one, however i do feel that some people have to much of an ego and reject people who are less skilled than them.

Interested in what GR is cooking up with a class system. I personally like the idea since the whole classing thing helps me improve and forces me to be more original. It all depends on how you look at it though. For some it could be negative, like if someone gets a low class they'll feel hurt or what not. Depending on what GR does, it might not be like that though. :P

Classing may help you progress and try harder to reach a new level but it was classing that brought down the graphics industry. No one is Pr0fessional till i see a certificate... Kids these days

I've been here for a long time, but didn't really decide to sign up until about 2 years ago. After the Steal Credit item was thrown in the mix alot of the credit faggots decided to leave and left all the cool people. Sounds good to me.

I do like the idea of making Crew produce. I know that it has helped immensely on other sites. I'd like to see Gr get more active as far as that goes.

    yeh.

it's quite simple. you act like a bitch and another member(s) will remove your creds or at the very least try. discourages hoarding too.

    go into the community section.
half the people there don't even do graphics seriously, they just like messing around.

Yes, the community section is a great group of guys... hopefully with the changes though we remove a good majority of the people not contributing and boost the overall site community.

The people that post here to try and get a laugh or two is far more superior in my eyes, than the people posting their signatures to get an ego boost.

    I.e, community>rest.

The "community" group you guys are referring to that just mess around is basically like a clique. Most new members wouldn't be comfortable joining in on a good amount of convos you have that are ment to be joking around. That kind of environment is good for those who have been on GR for a while, but it's not exactly an open-armed group. I'm sure you guys have been called pricks plenty of times, but thats because they don't really know you enough and end up taking you seriously. Because of that, those people go to the graphics section and try to get to know members and be apart of GR through those sections. I used to only post here when I needed some advice on sigs. I've branched out a lot since then, but still. :P

I think the revamp will be good and help the issues.
