I'll be upgrading my phone pretty soon, at the moment I have a Motorola Sliver, and it's time to upgrade. I was thinking of getting something along the lines of a phone that has the capabilities to make notes, events, reminders and things of that sort.

    currently looking at

Samsung Black Jack + II model
    Black Berry Curve
    At&T tilt

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have the Blackberry Pearl 8130 (that's the fast one; it's on Sprint).

I got it basically because I saw it as being "what to get if you can't afford the iPhone" and I've been extremely impressed with it. It's got GPS, email, its' own facebook app, a nice camera, and a couple neat things that the iPhone actually doesn't do. Just don't get it if your provider locks you out of certain features. for instance, I know that Verizon locks you out of Blackberry's GPS because they want you to buy theirs. Sprint, though, doesn't do this. So, you know. Do your research to make sure you're actually gonna get to USE the features you're buying it for.

Thanks for the insight you two. I will check out the Nokia n95, and I have also been eying the Blackberry pearl. I am also a person that does like the iphone, but I want a qwerty keypad on my phone not a touch keypad.

I would go with the Tilt, I got the verizon version of it (XV 6800) it's essentially the same phone, the verizon one has a couple of extra features.
    But it's amazing.....

They are made by UTStarcom (HTC), plus, they have Windows Mobile 6 Pr.o :D
