Hey what's up everyone! I'm actually a n00b, but I used to be a mod at cellphonehacks.com! Anyhoo, a friend introduced me to this forum so Ima give it a go. Me and the rest of my friends purchased this new addition of the Smash Bros. series. So we love it and everything, but too familiar with Melee. Not much has changed besides new characters, and the 1-player adventure mode just plain sucks!! Who agrees with me? I mean, it might've been better if each one had their 3D versions of their own game? For example, Kid Icarus but in a 3D version when PIT was in play, and Link in a Zelda 2 type of 3D remake. I know it would've tooken more memory but it would replace the repetitive, boring 1-player mode they have now! And even how ScrewAttack's review of the game mentioned that some of the useless features it had could've been replaced with better things. Really, what was Nintendo thinking!? Even if they were mad at Capcom because of the Resident Evil series, they still could've brought Megaman in the roster too and please all the Megaman fans, therefore bringing in more buyers! Not sure if this was discussed before, but let me know your comments about this, and if it has been talked about before in the forum, then let me know and I'll remove this one.
Solid Snake doesn't even fit into SSBB, i don't know what they were thinking. I'd take Megaman anyday i really loved him. Btw, im not saying Solid Snake is bad, in fact i can't wait for the final game for the Ps3.

Anyway, I unfortunately haven't got SSBB as it isn't out in the UK yet but just reading that it doesn't sound very good. I've heard good reviews about it but thanks for telling me about the bad first player mode.
nah dude, SSBB is awesome. I think the new characters are cool, and the first player may be a little repetitive to some, but it has really nice cut scenes Plus, after you beat the single player, you have most characters unlocked, which is nice And I love playing against my friends from school over wii wifi, its awesome that you can have a friend roster and play just with your friends whenever, for free
Sorry bout that, it's been done! Yea I really like the WiFi play, but its a little slow. Sonic is my fav too.
The online would be find if it had; A Lobby Setting up custom quick brawls, not just 2 minutes No friend limit, 64 sucks And adding people you play in quick brawl as friends
I really like the game overall, but it could stand some improvements. I hope they release an update at some point that addresses how attacks are "prioritized," that is, which attack 'beats' which other attacks. For instance, Squirtle has a defensive move that overrides Samus' final smash. that's a little ridiculous if you ask me. and wolf's attacks are overridden by freaking everything, which is a little agitating considering what a BA he could be. and ganondorf walks like a woman. other than that, really sweet game.
Captain Falcon pwns all... no doubt I dislike that they have added Solid Snake because Solid Snake has never had anything to do with Nintendo. There were so many more options to take rather than him. I'd love to see MegaMan be introduced into this series, but don't see it happening one bit. Plus this game is really unrealistic (in terms of damage taken), a mortor or gernade would kill someone and yet in the game his weapons do very little damage. I am glad to see not just Bowser as the only boss from old games. I love playing as Wolf and Gannondorf. WIFI is the worst thing ever. I can put in Mario Strikers and connect instantly but with SSBB I can wait 40+ min before I connect to 1 person. Instead of randomly searching through online FC's and IP's they shoudl do what every other game do and take the online IP's... put them in a seperate database... and choose the first 3 people in it. I mean there are some times in the day that is better than others, mainly before 12 pm here I can connect pretty quickly, but after that its pathetic... That damn punching bags damage has to exceed 100,000% by now lol. Even with FC's its bad, not as bad... but bad. It takes forever to complete requests. Me and my friend put to the test and we exchanged FC's, plugged each of them in, accepted... it still took almost a day for it to register.... Players I think the next game needs: Banjo Kazooi Bomberman Final Fantasy player Eathworm Jim Rayman
