I would like to see a better use for creds at this point I haven't found anything to waste them on so once i save up 10-50 i just make a thread somewhere and say whoever post first gets them or I send them to an admin
Dr Pepsi has some good ideas IMO I think more emphasis on rendering would be good seeing as that's what the name suggests... More incentive to keep girls active on this site - we do exist and we shouldn't be ignored
1. Bring Tutorial of the Week/Month back, offer better benefits. 2. Reinsert Premium Tutorials, with maybe more benefits for having your tutorial there. Have a single or few staff member(s) that do the judging for those that make it. 3. As someone said, Game Review of the week/month. 4. More site contests, with much better benefits. Easter Egg Competition had prizes the size of an average SoTW. 5. Have all the information above included and shown in the home site. 6. As Tasslehoff mentioned, better uses for credits. User modification items? Ability to make your avatar larger item? 7. Render, Tutorial, Game Reviewer staff groups. 8. Member stores. Instead of having members create multiple topics in marketplace and offers and requests, give every member a store integrated into their user profile. 9. Gamerenders blog, get rid of the news section and integrate a blog into the forum. 10. Expanding on gaming emphasis of forum, give profile sections for gamer information. Wii friend codes, xbox profiles and so on. 11. Take the games forum out of the community category and make it a category itself. Make forums for the xbox 360, the ps3, the wii, and last-gen consoles, with game review and news sub-forums for each. 12. Adding onto #6, make all members abide by strict sig space rules. If they would like to advertise in their signatures, or have more space, make them pay credits for it. 13. User Portfolios, user blogs? 14. Tutorial templates. HTML Tutorials. Instead of these large picture tutorials, and unappealing pure text tutorials. Create a template, write a tutorial on how to use it, and have users create their tutorial that way. That would allow for good looking, interactive tutorials, which allows for better learning.
^ Paper has some good suggestions, although I would like to see a new look and maybe a lighter skin this team or give us a choice of skins (2) that we may select from as per our mood.
the game review section is greatly underused as it is i would like to see how much creds people have in their bank. could cause a little suspicion when buying/selling things/services
id quite like to see crews staying but have more compitions involving them .would really help out with the inactivity of them
customizable user page like, we can inject our own stuff in a code box or something even. or a WYSIWYG editor for REALY simple things and being able to hide boxes and stuff on our personal page. and maby just ahve 2 versions of the same skin? also, i agree, we need more things to do with the credits we get.
A better Apply for A Staff thing like Slash Threes one its like a reall APPLY not justpost in a forum...idk.
Stop bumping up auctions after a week just to close them, especially when there has been no post for days. It's just spam and knocking down other people auctions. Just edit the first post then lock it, or make an auction archive and move it there.
I believe we will keep it as is. When you apply for a job, you have a resume, not an application, adn the people who get staff on GR are professional enough to know what to include on their application without having a strict outline any idiot (for lack of better words) could follow.
