I thought they had already discovered ways to clone cows? Is this not possible to make beef out of these clones? I agree, it might be a little weird at first, but if it looks like beef, tastes like beef, must it really be chicken?

And the Global Warming crock, that's all it is, bull----, stop bringing it up as it's been proven more the opposite. If anything it's global climate change, it friggin changes, it doesn't go just one way. Al Gore should be SHOT for scaring the human race for stupidity, for what, 3 years now?

the solution is to force everyone to get a vasectomy after their first child.

Damn, that is really scary. The numbers are rising so quickly, maybe the next generation would live if a world where the Earth is exploding from the amount of humans lol.

I'm guessing they might inflict some China's one child police rules on everyone within several years (not the really distant future though). That would also include hading out fines to those that brake the rules or even forcing a sterilization upon the people.
So allthough this rule is currently only for those living in the 'hoods' of China, I think it spread itself in the future.

BUT, I only think the rule will actually spread if there were to develop something like global peace. Because the way things are now, they are killing each other by the millions every day...

i read throughout this topic that food/water is enough and i agree, but tell me if food/water is enough why are so many people dying from starvation or lack of water? Someone is keeping it all for himself...i wonder who it is...
Now about global warming, i think we better stop argueing if its bad or not good or evil and concetrate on making our lifes healthier, prevent animal extinction, keep whats left of the ozon layer, keep the oceans clean, fight poverty/diseases, educate the uneducated.

You have an interesting point but a couple of things: the oceans are currently at their cleanest for centuries, the ozone layer is reforming and "whats left of it" is always an over exaggeration when very little ever happened to the ozone, and animal extinction is at its slowest rate for years as well.

As for "why are some countries starving/in drought" it's usually because of localised population explosions where natural resources are not present. It's arguable that Western countries could just shift around excess produce but ultimately that results in dependence and can create negatives. As for water it is extremely hard to shift that around in any where near the quantities needed let alone the problems that could cause where it came from.

not so much in the US or EU, we're going down in numbers because we're dying faster than we're breeding

it might create dependence as u say but we can't let those children starve to death cause they happened to be born in a 3rd world country (and not only). Money that are spent in weapons of mass destruction/defensive systems/wars are enough to solve poverty once and for all but u know the thing is....war is more profitable...ask the bankers

Nowadays im happy to see more and more people actually Caring about whats going on in this world, i can see it around me and this surely has an impact in the long run but we cant just relax and say "ok i turned off the lights once, i care".

if an area cannot fend for itself those incapable of fending for themselves will die and those will live. The very people who are advocates of evolutionary theory are against its application to improve the human genome. If it takes making the human population less fertile and more resource efficient to save humanity well... and yes that's incredibly cruel.

Obviously its so easy for you to say this words cause you don't live in an "area that cannot feed itself", you won't die cause of hunger or cause u drank poisoned water cause you couldn't find any clean water in miles, but others will die cause of that. One child dies every 5 seconds cause of hunger related issues.
Here are facts and figures about hunger: http://www.bread.org/learn/hunger-basics/h...ernational.html
I hope you review your thoughts.

If we use china's one child policy countries will end up with an ageing population, which will have no young people to look after it there would also be a drop in the economy as there would be a low working force.

I agree, its really sad to see the amount of people dying every day, not to mention hunger issues and other diseases which are reducing the Earth's population. I think that us humans will end up killing ourselves if we keep this up.

It would be factored into the yearly census.

Also, that takes account of all the acts of terrorism, and frankly, the US is small enough that no one would care about the loss in numbers.

Drop a nuke on China or Japan (lol again) and we'll see some nice numbers.

Why only KILL? Why not gather with peace and stop bull----ting in other country' affairs? I'd say world population is going to increase and there is going to be a 3rd World War and I am damn sure about it.

I'm not gonna disagree but I don't think it can really be defined as a 3rd world war. Seeing the way things are these days with weapons (nuclear weapons), It will just be modern warfare and the countires will be nuked by the dozens.
I hardly doubt there will be man to man combat.
