it's good to know some people care --- honestly i did it for fun but then again if the world is all polluted and ---- and we all die .. how will i get to use photoshop (>_<) They kinda made a study about what would happend if earth hour in sydney australia (just one city) continued for 1 year and results showed that the pollution didn't happend in that one hour was equivalent to taking 48,616 cars off the road. Amazing huh ? I don't wanna sound like some save the whales freak but i really think we r ------ed if the world continues the way it is .....
didn't turn off my computer, and my mom turned off the rest of the lights while i was eating. stupidest thing i've heard of, if they want it to be like... beneficial or something it should be don't go driving for an hour, not turn off the renewable energy source for an hour >_> isn't that just making things worse?
Why should i join? they really think if you turn the lights off for one fricking hour that it could save the earth?
Honestly.. Did anyone else here that it's global cooling now? Oh, and their is no direct correlation between CO2 output and the global temperature. If anything, I would look for a correlation between the green house gases and medical issues/birth defects. THAT seems like it's way more important.
Okay.... so during that one hour... does ANYONE feel ANY different? I didn't participate in it... so all the computers + t.v's + lights in the house + refrigerator running + phones charging were still doing what the do. I honestly don't think that my life now would be in ANY WAY different had I did that pointless thing. I do not, nor do I expect to, feel any effects from that night just because some ------s missed their favorite show, to accomplish nothing .
