Hacker is something that comes to most peoples minds but most hackers on this planet won't aim public forums and stuff like this, they like to take risks by hacking buisnesses, goverment profiles, stores, and any other product producing site, i highly doubt any hacker would come here, and if they did all they probably know is how to use an ip finder/Hole opener (programs that find holes in the servers protection.) Honestly most of what you all call hackers are usualy just proxie kiddies and key lockers. These are nothing compared to actuale hackers. These are what i like to call the "imitators"

Also known as script kiddies. I wouldn't doubt a script kiddie, mainly due to the fact they'll attack things just for the thrill and bragging rights. But, seems like staff's trying to keep it on the downlow until things are figured out (just my observation), so hopefully we'll know in due time.

Script kiddies are usualy just kids 13-16 who managed to find small site that teaches basic hacking thats what i think anyway.

Its sad that they actualy think that they can call themselves hackers.

No offence fury but there is a diffrence between hacked, and proxied hackers can actualy get into our information and passwords and stuff and actualy get into our own computer, proxies are people who just have a ip finder and managed to get into a primary section of a website(I.E. the admin control panel) and mess around with everything without actualy needing a pw. But thats about all they can do.

No offense, but if a hacker or a script kiddie executes a vulnerability script and manages to get into the ACP then they can do far more trouble than what you think they can. They can actually delete all tables in the database from the ACP.
Don't be naive to think that a hacker or even a script kiddie won't breach a public website like this because they will and it has been done before in the past to a very public forum which deals with IPB support issues. I seriously doubt that anything of that sort happened here, probably just hosting problems.
