I personally don't think you have the authority to make a book for design students, me being a design student and all.

I haven't got a clue what "Basic Tools of Supremacy" or "Extravaganza Lavishments" are. You're trying to complicate a simple idea and that 99.9% of the time leads to failing.

As for making a "colourful" book of "graphics". Graphics is more than Adobe programs.

I suggest you put more research into:

    a) What Graphics is.
    B) How "graphics" is constructed.
    c) Your target audience
    d) What you want to say to that target audience.
    e) How to portray that message.
    f) The outcome you want from this message.

    edit:

    g) Typography
    h) Legibility and Hierarchy

so why are you creating a colourful book of graphics if your art is random?

    and what does /hate mean?

I don't like the plant thing coming off of the icons... it just doesn't make any sense to me why it would be there.
I also don't like the PhotoShop control bar turned sideways... what is the point of it being there?
Also InDesign is a very essential program, why it wouldn't be in that book makes no sense to me considering it is the software that you use to build books.

Another thing, why are you making a book on this... the have an adobe team who has already made books for this and those books are very well made so I see no point in making replacements for them.

I like it but maybe "Extravagant" would work better than "Extravaganza". Other than that, it's awesome. Good job.

Cool concept, text is on the buttons is a lil bright imo.

and frankly desptie it not actually going into creation,
you guys don't need to hate

People write signature tutorials, but theres an adobe team who wrote books full of em
why don't we leave it to them for now on? jese whats the point of gamerenders

he easily could have designed something half as long as an adobe book
with double the tricks, tips, etc.

won't lie though the actual section names would be a little too sophisticated for many lol

i have noticed you essentially being a dick in almost every thread you enter Acrima regardless if
    your trying to or not

its getting a little god damn old

Not everyone can handle the truth or a bad criticism.

    You obviously can't.

Maybe he is being an ass or maybe he's just speaking the truth (although he sorta does have authority to make a book Acrima if he wants to seeing how crappy designers make tuts here all the time)

I think he speaks the truth though.......

You can't simply "wing" a book, especially when it's an instructional one. Much research has to be done and especially in this case. Photoshop is not the only thing that has the potential to create amazing pieces of work (as handy as it may be)
and yes....you are definitely over-complicating things zohair...

    My thought:
horrible structure/layout and that's too distracting..........

I'm not new and I don't understand, care to explain?
If you don't need it then don't post your work =]

    * nice try though =]
