Sotw Entry | Indulged In Flames

i hope this qualifies for the SOTW theme.

 

I would change indulged to "engulfed". Makes more sense. haha. Cool effects on this one. The flames should be letting off more light imo though. ^_^

V2:

 

I kind of like V2, personally. We'll see what more experty people say though. haha.

 

v2 is good, just a little too bright. try lighten+gaussian blur over a sharpened apply image? Erase parts you think are oversharpened/too blurry.

lighting in v2 is messy with the brightness though. its eye catching i'll give you that.

 

looks like you just stuck some C4d's in a stock (mayBe added some blood?). I Suggest playin with the smudge setting and smudgin those bad boys to shape some fire.

Put forth effort and time! This won't get you a place in the sotw >.< keep practicing

 

Actually, No i didnt not just add a C4D, i actually pen tooled a bit, smudged under the c4d, etc, this is around 35 layers.

 

what you may have done and what it looks like are two different things though >.>

some of my tags are like 60 layers, but they look like sht.

 

v2 is nice, I like the colors and effects.
