All I have to say is if I hear blacks complaining about shit like this, I demand every white person step up and bitch at magazines for featuring toned abs, or blonde haired, blue eyed 'cuties' on magazine covers, claiming its insulting to myself as a race. I want to say other things, but frankly, its all going revolve around the F word and the N word, so I won't bother.
Speaking as a girl, I hate all the demoralizing shiznit that goes around on the internet, in magazines, on TV, in movies, etc. We aren't freaking objects! Dangit. Makes me pissed, but hell, if I complained about, I get laughed at by men and such and told to shut the hell up. I wish my words actually counted for freaking once. </vent> Sorry bout that. ^_^

I would have to say from a multicultural stand point in a multicultural nation. The word racists or racisim is far over used, i have also noticed its a one way street its only racist when the white man/men are the standover-ish power or opressor, which is ghey. I can be called a white boy or white C%^T but if i was to say the same thing such as Black boy or the other i would get frowned apon. Its almost like we are so sorry for our ancesstors oppression of black people we are scared to say " hey man, that aint right" ... That aint me if i get spoken too in a bad term regarding my colour i fly right back.. even if it leads to fists mate.
All goes back to history. Whites are the racists. Blacks can throw around the "n" word, but when a white guy says most likely he'll get the ---- beat out of him even if it wasn't his intention to be racist. Follows exactly what Ikky says.
I have an excellent story for this, and it's sort of for my point in a way. Okay, I used to go to a 97% white public school, and we had about 6 or so black kids there. One of them was a really big, strong girl that was a basketball star. One day the coach left her in charge of practice for about thirty minutes. A bratty white chick started acting out and being disrespectful to the black girl. The black girl said for her cut it out and stop complaining and just play. The white girl then walks all the over from the other side of the court and rams into the black girl with her shoulder. The black girl said, "Push me again and you'll get it." The white chick of course pushes her again .. Then the black girl pushes her back. The white girl says "Just because you're black doesn't mean I have to be afraid of you" and slaps her and the black girl throws a punch, breaking the white chick's nose. So they both get sent to the principle's office, and the white girl is the one that gets a lighter sentencing, because the school was anti-black basically. Well that same kind of thing happened at my new school except the reverse. A black kid caused a problem, and the white kid got a wayyyy worse sentencing. I mean it really depends on the environment when you think about it, doesn't it? I see it go both ways these days, but though my story was tilted towards the white chick, I see it favor black people more and more these days. Did anyone else here about I think it's like Virginia or somewhere, they're trying to get the white descendants of DEAD SLAVE HOLDERS to apologize to the descendants of the DEAD SLAVES. That was OVER 140 years ago! Why would you blame the descendants? They didn't do anything wrong.
