like title says I can't find a mac hypercam. a free trial would be fine too or a free full version if it's legal. but it has to be free can you guys find one for me?
it's a program. and I'm going to say it here and now. (skip the small font if you just want the answer and no rant) every other *nix user does this, why is it that the whole apple community is completely oblivious to everything tech related... they're running a UNIX based operating system, same generic OS platform that's used by... everything that's not windows... No different nothing special... perhaps a nicer UI but the foundation is the same and the skills to be able to use it well are largely identical, go dig up terminal and learn how to use command line. ticks me off when people say "it just works" and there's a handful of things that your typical *nix nerd get annoyed by in a supposedly user oriented enviroment when it comes to the implementation of 3rd party utilities. Over in Linux land such a question isn't asked... over in BSD land such a question isn't asked over in solaris land such a question isn't asked it's borderline common sense. what might be asked is "any work arounds for X" /rant and I'll admit I am probably unjustified in stating all that. you asked for help and weren't doing anything of the sort which makes me feel such sentiment towards the apple community(unfounded arrogance) it's just I had it pent up for a bit. as said try running it through WINE, or else try a linux app and see if you cna get it running under OSX, I've heard "recordmydesktop" is reasonably good
