Alright. Well I actually have the money to buy my computer now so I need to update my list. Graphics Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814143119 PSU - http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=PS-E5150GH RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820146565 CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115017 Heatsink - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835185027 I think I need to change the Motherboard. And I for sure want to upgrade the RAM to 3GB. Not sure about the other parts, I think they are ok but that is why I am asking here. I already have a case and hard-drive.
Not bad. I got that Graphics card as well. I have mine set up with 3 GB's and that runs nice. Depends on if you play games or what you use your computer but get 2X 2gb ram sticks or a single 4GB, if you want a middle price go with a 3 GB stick. That's what I got with the Dual Cores and it runs quite well.
Pretty nice build. Only thing is the power supply, I've never heard of that company. And I wouldn't recommend going with a "no-name". I know a lot of people like the Corsiar line of power supplies. I personally have the Zalman HP-600W power supply, and it's quite nice. As for motherboards, it really all depends if you plan on going SLi or not. It seems most reviewers like using Intel's chipsets a bit more then Nvidia's, though Intel's don't support SLI. If you do want SLI, and say, upgrade to a new 45nm CPU in the future, you'd need to get a 780i motherboard. You're build looks good, enjoy it.
Enhance mostly deals with OEMs. The unit he linked to is effectively identical to the silverstone stf500W. basically it's a solid unit. It's not flashy, the cables aren't sleeved, but ti's quiet and does the job. THe enhance ENP-GH 500W and the CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX are the two PSUs I most highly recommend given their pricing and quality. $70 for a unit which will power a highly overclocked quad core CPU, 4 sticks of RAM, a bunch of harddrives and a single highend and overclocked to hell and beyond graphics card is sufficient for 95% of builds. the whole "The PSU needs a brand" movement is due to the fact that a lot of small startup companies overrate their units a ton. Brand doesn't matter the actual unit does. as for board, if you don't need RAID support http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813127031 if you do and you want something pretty dang good as far as overclocking is concerned... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813136043
