Well after a few days of my 19" Widescreen looking grainy...and as if it were in safemode....I decided to switch monitors....hoping the problem was my video card so I could return it...and get a new one. As it turns out...my monitor is bad...so...now Im using a 17" widescreen...adjusted my settings correctly...but now...whenever I load a game, I get awful lag. Any ideas what or how changing monitors can cause lag...and its system lag...as in...even typing in an IM while a game is up...is awful. Any ideas? assuming the resolution is the same there should be no difference in internal frame rate. that said a lot of older LCDs are very unresponsive. There's a reason why there's still die hard CRT fanatics out there and that's because they're more responsive cheaper and offer better image quality
Well I dropped the resolution from 1440x900 (the 19") to 1280x720 (the new 17"), just because the 17" wouldn't support 1440x900, other than that, nothing has changed yet i get a 1fps lag every 30 seconds or so. And keeping my system resource monitor thing up...the processor nor RAM was ever near 100% usage at the time of the lag spike... Hmmm its really frustrating...and seems retarded
