What do you think of this

    http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=iCwzgKAcreY

    table?

I just wanted to know if you think that Microsoft "threw" away money just for creating a table that no one would probably buy. I mean,
do you think that "normal" people like us would buy such a table? Do you think that any restaurants would buy one, and when yes,
do you think it is worth it? I mean, they spend probably much money into the research to create that table.

Of course it looks great and it has some really nice features but I do not think that so many people would buy it, or even are
able to buy it so I wonder if Microsoft did a good deal there or not.

And ofcourse the price will not be that low if I keep all the features it has in my mind.

    What do you think?

Looks well cool but... It still needs work.

And it says it wont be avlalible to us for aorund 4 years, but will it be worth the wait? :P

But It wont be able to play games properly like CSS or CoD4, I mean how on earth would you play that, on a table?

All in all I think it depends on what you want to use it for, it looks like it's gonna be pretty pricey!

Apple releases products each year that are a waste of money.

They rake in millions off of people who buy stupid flashy things.

Now imagine M$ with 50 times the capital following suite.

    The thing is,
when they know that it is a waste,
why are they still researching such products?

    Just for their image?

That is the coolest sh!t ever! And who said it's for the middle class? Microsoft can make loads of money from rich people who just want to buy the most expensive thing on the market. A good example will be the following:

Waste of money? Not in my opinion, I'd buy one in a second if I could, and I might do that if the pricing comes within 1,000£

That looks very interesting, but it's not something I would ever buy. I'd love to see it in restaurants though.

    Yea,
I heard rumors that some restaurants and casinos are going to buy some of those tables.

I did not said that they are not well done. I just asked for your opinions wether it is
    worth the research.

Even if the price would be around 1000$, I would not buy it,
    why?
Because I hate it when I want to eat or so and the table is talking to me...^^

Sure, it has to look neat so that many people want to buy it even though they cannot because the price will probably be too high.

But another question that came up to my mind.

Would you appreciate sitting on such a table at a restaurant, I mean the table can maybe talk or make suggestions, would it annoy you or would
    you like it?
