Clear Background.......

    make the back transparent and save as gif

    You mean make transparent and make a *PNG*

    both gif and png are valid formats to have a transparent background, either it suitable but i like to use png and keep gif for animation

    GIF SUCKS use PNG much better quality only use gif if you are using animation

    Gifs support 256 colors, while pngs support millions.

    Only problem with PNG's is they aren't trans in IE, but you know what, IE is for losers and IE doesn't deserve png's lol.

    But if you pity the IE users and don't wanna look like an idiot to them, make the area where you want the transparency the same exactly color code as the forum skin.

    If you don't know how to get the code, thats just ----ing sad.
