    Thanks for the link!
But I will stick to firefox 3 at first.
You know, with betas there are many bugs and I do not want
that it just suddenly shuts down or just delets my bookmarked sites.
That would not be so nice.

I will wait until it is really stable.^^

    It is no offensive :D

most of the time betas are relatively reliable. I've been using firefox since beta .9 and it was rock solid

now alphas... alphas are a bit more sketchy

Well seeing as Firefox is still in its version 3 beta stages, I would say that the link you posted is nothing more than beta 5 at the most. Either that or they have another whole development team working on Firefox 4, which is very unlikely.

I don't mean the name. I mean the features. How can this be different from 3 which isn't out yet? The only way would be to have a different development team working on a completely different program. Doesn't make any sense to do something like that.

They could completely re-write the program, and add in a lot more extensions, but I do agree that it seems highly unlikely that it is much better than FireFox 3.

Thanks for the news. Seems really strange that FF 4 is already in the works when FF 3 hasn't been released yet. I'll stick with the none beta/alpha versions for now though.

As for alphas I know that they are pretty unstable.
I never used to have a firefox beta version but as for other software,
the betas are mostly really! unstable, too, that is why I am careful.

+Like Nivexonix said, it is strange that Firefox 4 Alpha version is out and Firefox 3 is just released,
just a question, what kind of features does the Firefox 4 has which Firefox 3 does not have?
Would be interesting to know some of the differences.

Reading the posts above, I am deciding to stick to my FF 2 for now but yeah when the new version comes out, I'd be an arsehole not to update ^_^

Firefox 3 hasn’t even released yet, and the first alpha release of Firefox 4 is out!
