Yeah, I like v1 much more, too.
Try to add some curves/gradients or so,
that you get a nice coloring, not too much,
at the second version the coloring is a bit too much.

gotta agree with the coloring comment. It's a little too chaotic, don't like the text either =/ sorry! <3

 

i like the v1 of tag..
u have used too many colors that make it seem off
dull them down like u did in v1 in centre of tag
also text isnt nice

 

maybe its just me

but i prefer v2

nicer colors, and his face looks lot better (for me in v2)
