<div align="center"> When one man is not enough... Army of Two is the holy grail of co-op shooters. From Split screen and versus to two man online play , this game is made for two players. -Gameplay The gameplay in this game isn't like anything I've ever played before. The amount of interaction between you and your partner is amazing. One of the many things you can do is have one person hold a shield while the other player runs behind it , shooting over the top. Even playing on single player , you can do all the actions with a computer controlled partner. The cover system is similar to Gears of War. Your able to slide behind cover from a distance and blind fire over the top or around the corner. The only problem I've suffered is the usual "Enemy's being able to hit you from 5 area codes away" problem from most FPS games , but its easy enough to play through this as you can hit them from just as far. -Graphics The in game graphics are utterly amazing. You can see the individual bits of rock falling off a wall after you shoot it. A strange addition to the FPS genre , you can customize your guns. Some add on's such as suppressors and magazine size are fairly obvious , but you can also "Pimp out" you gun, covering it in gold and diamonds! The cutscene graphics are the of the highest standard. I don't think you'll find a game out now that can surpass this in terms of graphics. -Sound I had the opportunity to play this game on the biggest pair of speakers I've ever seen. The guns are terrifyingly realistic , a single shotgun blast enough to drown out the sounds of anything else happening around you. Ranks Gameplay - 9/10. If I was to judge it on co-op alone , it would definitely be 10/10. Graphics - 10/10. Utterly amazing. Lifespan - 9/10. The story mode is short , but with the huge amount of fun you get from multi player you won't be putting this one down for a while. If you own a console , buy this game now. Its that simple. </div>
My fingers are tingling o by this game but somehow I'm still not convinced. I mean, the graphics do look awesome but I'm kinda worrying how smooth it plays when you constantly have to keep your buddy in regards. Doesn't it slow the gameplay down? And it also a bummer that you say the singleplayer mode is pretty short since I don't have a wireless internet connection (yet).
its a good game, but from playing on the single player part of the game i have to say that i dont like my team mate as he dies too often and only helps me when it feels like it... Online is really where this game lives, which is basically where the Army of Two part really lies.
im playing this one right now with my brother split-screen. we're going at a slow steady pace cos we dont want it to end too quickly. it's a great game but it's too short. aggro system is very innovative
My suggestion as far as this game goes: Do not buy it if you don't have a friend to play with or internet connection.
