I was wondering what everyone uses for graphic design. I am trying to use freehand and was wondering if most of you use photoshop which I think is the case. Also if you do use freehand I have a couple questions.
    Thanks

Yes, most likely the majority of people use Photoshop, while a few use Gimp or other softwares..

photoshop would be the weapon of choice common here. some use gimp as well as it's free
then there are other programs too for cretaing c4d, fractals, so on an so forth
i free hand sometimes. pencil (& pen) & paper. thinking about drawing one and then scanning it so i can coulour it in PS. thought i might enter in LATM

I use PhotoShop for the most part..sometimes I use a bit of GIMP, cus there are a few things GIMP can do that PhotoShop cant. Then, theres Apophysis for Fractals, Terragen for Landscapes, Cinema4D for C4D's :P, and MSPaint for pixel art.

I use Photoshop CS3 for 95% of my work. The other 5% is C4D when I get bored of looking at the same program screen

Adobe Photoshop = for photos and initial concepts etc

Adobe Illustrator = Vector, logos etc

Adobe InDesign = Books, typography, bringing illustation and photos together to print at a large scale.

    Thats what I use.
