Hi, I have a Notebook Acer Travelmate 4050. I want to format my notebook but before i'll do this i want the InstallCD/DVD and i can't find that CD/DVD anymore. Does someone know where that i can find this INSTAL CD/DVD on the web (legal!) thx anyway!!
illegal, not hard... legal, not happening... my advice would be getting on line with tech support and seeing about having them mail you one.
well you'll need your windows cd to format anyway, a option is if you have a legal version bring it too your local pc repair store and let them install it.. if you lost your code too, well there are some tools that could get your code from the register so that wouldnt be a problem
if he had the CD there'd be no reason to pay someone $50-100 to install windows for him. Installing windows is incredibly simple and largely automated.
i have an outher install CD/DVD for my desktop (with key) but when i use this one i won't have all the extra tools that i have on my laptop, like wireless internet, the keys for volume and some outher things
for my laptop too? I found drivers for the Travelmate 4060 and the 4020 but not for the 4050 where can i find it?
