RandomRO isnt a real server but i thought it would be fun to make a layout of it, just got it finished. Looking for harsh Critics so dont hold back.
I think its pretty plain, The shine on the side buttons may need to be bit more faded imo. I think the side buttons are too big also, theres too much white on the layout, maybe change the font size and add more sections, maybe add a partners section below or something to make it look alittle less plain. I like the colours used but why not centeralise the whole thing? add space on sides and centeralise the whole template....makes the nav bar and width of text boxes a little less and makes the length more bigger with more info. Im not much of one to talk, youve put good effort in but theres too much white/light things that are hitting me. Good work bro dont take non in offense please. Keep on trying
Thanks for your input, the white that you mention was intentional. When i started this, I had a basic image in my mind of what I wanted too make, this was Exactly how i wanted it too look. I appreciate your advice though, and ill take it into considerations while editing.
Could do with more detail, even if that means a space for ads or affiliates. For me it's all readable but it could be hard on some monitors, especially your navigation as the white text merges with the white background; I'm also not a fan of the repeating gradients on all the nav links, personally it just looks like you made a mistake and its tiling. Otherwise, colours are good and general layout is practical, just seems quite basic.
