I really like the tag. I think you did an amazing job at it. I can see why it would take that long. O.O

Wow...nice vector Kiyaa, continue, it looks HOT.

Fallen, not really liking it =/

Lacking depth, colours don't fit and that red area looks odd. Looks like all you've done is smudged it and added a C4D and lighting.

I can give it out to BC members when I'm completely finished. I still have to work on the BG a bit. I'm ranked as nov on the NSL still and I keep getting told it could be sem-i if I do just as good of a background. I just don't know what to do with it yet. :P

Until I get finished here are 3 tutorials that might help you a bit:

@Fallen - Some of the smudging is really good. The c4ds aren't flowing that well imo. I see it and wished you incorporated some of the colors on her jacket (i think?)

i was self-taught when it came to vectoring. if you know your way around the paths/pen tool, you can do it. 90% of the actual work involved is planning how you will proceed. you've got to have a strategy. which layers will be on the bottom? are you going to group light-colored areas together, or group by location in the picture? what colors are you going to use?

after you get that sorted out, the actual vectoring itself is pretty mindless. put on a song you could listen to over and over, and just get in the vector zone.

I didn't even know about the convert point tool until 3 nights ago. I was trying to make a sharp turn after making a really curvy line and couldn't do it, so I had to open a vector tutorial to see how it was done.

@Daecu - I like what you did with it, but not the colors :s

@ Discharged - It's really good but there's an odd dark orange line on the left side by the sun that looks out of place.

Anyways, heres mine of the night:

Not as detailed as my last vexel but I tried to work on incorporating the bg in more with the actual vexel.

and my problem is that i always get this white line between each colors .. looks very bad

but i geuss it's just a matter of practice :)

    thanks :)
